"Conan","Krull", etc.) just to remind myself how bad movies can be. But "Yor" reached new lows in acting, logic of plot, special effects (a friend with me remarked that the special effects were remarkable, assuming they had only spent a quarter on them) at least for me.... STAY AWAY!!!

Why is YOR wearing his own 20th century curly hair style in the large cardboard promotional photos while he wears a caveman style wig in the movie?

What is important is that these two will go down in badfilm history. They are truly putrid and anyone who asks dumb questions about promo campaigns is just minimizing how important these movies are to the badfilm fan. I rank "Yor" right up there with "Mars Needs Women", Frank Adrian

> If you really want to know how bad a movie can be, > consider the experience of an old roommate of mine, who went to > see a sword & sorcery flick called "Yor". The people coming > out of the early showing were telling the people in the line > for the late show that it was so bad that they shouldn't go > in! He went anyway, but wound up agreeing with them. I saw part of this movie on HBO one evening (the first part, before I flicked it off). Now, I'm a fan of high-violence movies as a general rule, but there was so little plot that even the violence wasn't fun to watch (and the sex was silly). I liked SUPERGIRL. I adored REVENGE OF THE NINJA. But I absolutely couldn't find any reason to watch YOR. I'm rambling, I know (shutting up, Sir!). -- Alan (...tektronix!reed!schmidt)
