For the benefit of those that don't already know.....
As of last Friday, this system has been running on an Apple IIgs instead of a
//e, the rest of the equipment is the same however. Thanks to Apple's "Free
Trial Run" offer, I have a GS sitting on my desk, and a //e in the other room.
This doesn't mean that I am "dis-owning" my //e altogether.... I am looking at
selling it though. The only way I will be able to afford to keep the GS when
it's time to return it is to sell my //e, and since I'm getting rather attached
to this thing...... Here are my //e's stats...
Apple //e (enhanced) - 3 yrs old
Apple Color Composite monitor
2 - 5.25" drives
1 - 3.5" Central Point Software drive
SMT No-Slot Clock
RamWorks II board with 1 Meg memory (is also an 80 col card)
2 Super Serial cards
Universal Disk controller
Epic Classic II 2400 baud internal modem
Almost forgot the Kensington System Saver.....
As you can see this is a pretty well rounded system. With the addition of a
hard drive, it's great for running a BBS, but no, I'm not selling mine, never!
I'm also keeping the printer, unless of course you're willing to give me an arm
and a leg, or a sizeable enough chunk to go get an LQ, or LaserWriter.......
I haven't thought much about what I'm asking yet, so make me an offer. I'd
also like to sell the entire system, in fact, that's the only way I'll sell it.
So if you are interested in pieces of it, hope that someone else want's the
complimentary pieces, or you're out of luck. I also have various software, and
a few manuals that did not come with the machine. There is also another
RW board that I will sell seperately. I have boxes, manuals, and original
receipts for almost everything. Well, that's it. Any offers?
