Forgive if this has been hashed to death. I've not been involved with the II line since I bought my Mac a number of years ago, but recently one of my colleagues has asked that I try to determine something. What is the state of programming languages for the II line (say, starting with the II+ or e)? We have a number of Comp Sci students that will be needing to develop capstone design projects, and a suggestion has been made to put together programs for use in the K-12 public school arena. We'd like to use Pascal, if a good implementaion currently exists. I'm so out of touch with the II line, that all I know about is the ORIGINAL Apple Pascal. Surely since then (about 1982?) other compilers have come along. If've you used some of these, I'd greatly value your opinion on which ones are worthwhile. Although I will check back here, you can also E-Mail me at the address below to avoid cluttering up the newsgroup.
