I finally found out that the ADB is "parallel". I never was sure and asked the people at a ComputerLand here, asked Apple Reps that came to computer fairs, but still couldn't get a definate answer. Then when I happened to be looking up other information in a friends's Hardware Reference Manual, I checked to see what it said about the ADB. It clearly states that it is a parallel bus. Now my question is: Does any company make an ADB Y connector? I hate having the mouse connected to the keyboard. For being a detached keyboard, I cannot move it much without dragging the mouse around. The macs have two connectors in back so they have the choice of where to connect the mouse. I'd like to have my mouse connected in back and free up my keyboard movements. If nobody makes such a connector, where can I buy the parts (1 male, 2 female) connectors so I can build my own? Is there anything I'm overlooking here that would make this hard to do? I'm no expert in electronics but I believe I know enough to do this.
