[comp.sys.apple] GS Sound Chip Failure

	Has anyone heard of the GS Sound chip burning out?  My GS was working 
fine and I left it on overnight (I do that a lot, so that's nothing new to my
computer) and then when I went back to it the next morning, I had no sound
at all.  I've tried resetting the control panel with control-closed-apple-reset
and it still has no sound.  The volume has no effect and neither does the pitch
control.  There's also no sound out of the headphone jack and the self test 
gives the "System Good" message.

	Is it possible that this chip has burned out, since the computer works
perfectly aside from that.  Thanks alot.
