A public note of thanks to Syd Polk and Scott Lindsey for the help they gave me on this problem. Thanks to both of you for the suggestions and the patience. Based on what Tech Supt. suggested, paying close attention to the tools and a suggestion made by one of the other apple users here at DEC, I reloaded Appleworks.GS and all the tools onto the hard disk using Prosel-16. Things appear to be alright now. My question now is..does this point to some sort of corrupted installer or installer script? Don't know what else it would point to. This whole thing seems anti-climatic after spending all weeked struggling with this thing only to fix it in under 5 minutes with Prosel-16. Thank again for all your support and I STILL love this program.
