I think that Beagle Bros decision to release so much software to the PD has a benefit (aside from the obvious ones) that most of us on this net miss. Those of us with access to this network are a small and very lucky minority. There are a lot of people out there with modems all revved up and no where to go. I remember the first few months that I had my modem as an exercise in futility. I would call all over the country looking for something, anything, to download with my new toy. I spent 45 minutes one evening downloading a program that turned out to be for the PC. To be able to download anything that works at all, let alone valuable programs like these can be a real treat. If it also results in people browsing around and deciding to order products from Beagle Bros then more power to them. Look at all the people ordering overpriced fruit baskets, etc from Compuserve just to use their modems. I think that the Beagle Bros/Timeout crew are one of the major reasons that the // is still around and going strong. Bob Church att!oucsace!bchurch P.S. I realize that I have used up my quota of opinion postings for the next twelve years. I promise to make my next posting a technical question or answer :-).
