Hi!
At the risk of sounding irritating, I wanted to say what a relief
it is to finally find an Apple // support network after so many years of
slogging away at the 6502 myself.
But as you've no doubt expected, I'm only writing to ask for some-
thing:
(1) A ProDOS-8 Public Domain COPY command, which uses existing
buffers to reproduce a ProDOS file in one directory in
another. Come to think of it, some program that removes
the file in question from one directory, then adds the program
to the list in the destination directory, would probably do
the job, since it's for a Large Storage Device. Anyone know
of such a piece of code?
(2) A good ProDOS-8 modem driver, supporting Hayes AT set to 2400
baud, with options for single-character, multiple-character,
no-echo and wordwrap, as well as (maybe) protocol transfers and
a clock imitator (from the modem IRQ). Is there such a thing?
Well, suffice to say I'm being mouthy for my first post. Heck, it's
a lot of work getting ProTERM to work in the VT-52 mode with a VAX editor.
Kinda like a matchbox car with a V-8 engine.
Markum.
