I have encountered a problem in using the resource editor in TML Pascal II. It looks to me like they are not correctly creating the keystroke equivalent record. In my tests, they always set the keyModifiers word and the keyCareBits word to $0001. The result is that the keystroke equivalent is always Open-Apple x, where "x" is the keystroke you provide in the resource editor. I have been able to circumvent this problem by zapping (using ProSel-16) the file so that both words are $0000. To find the location to be zapped, "follow" the file, then use the "search" command under "edit" to search for two consecutive occurrences of the keystroke that you specified. For example, if you specified a keystroke equivalent of "A", then search for "AA" (the actual string is "Aa", but ProSel-16 will find it in either case--pun intended). This sure isn't a very handy way to create resources, but I have gotten it to work so far. ==================================================================== J.
