Hey guys, I have to say that even after using Macs for one semester, yesterday I finally had a chance to use a //gs, I feel much comfortable with the GS then with Mac. I don't think that Mac is any friendlier then GS, instead GS is much nicer. GS is cute and easy to follow. Actually I am a bit sick of Mac's STANDARD interface.. I get bored using Mac because everything look same but when you really use it, you find lots differents between programs, lots unfamiliar vocabularies, and lots options which are "hidden" unless you read manual. I hate that, that's not user friendly...well, Mac IS friendly for people who had never used a computer before (at least when compared with the Intensively Bored Machine, the difference showed off) I think if I really want a powerful machine, I won't buy Mac, if I really want a computer that is easy to use, and simple enough to understand something about it's hardware, then a //gs will be my choice. (No, I don't want Macs, please) Apple people say that they support // lines... True, they provide more supports then almost anyother company... but if they really care about // lines, they would't let Call A.P.P.L.E down, same with several Apple // publications. Now we have only A2 central, InCider, and Nibble as major apple // publications Too sad. xxxxx time for me to get off of my soapbox xxxxx -- |I want Rocket Chip 10 MHz, Z-Ram Ultra II, UniDisk 3.5 | cyliao@wam.umd.edu | |I want my own NeXT, 64 Mb RAM, 660 Mb SCSI, NeXT laser | Chun Yao Liao | | printer, net connection, software, etc. | Accepting Donations!| /* If (my_.signature =~ yours) coincidence = true; else ignore_this = true; */
