What is the UniDISK "write protect bug" (Apple //e with 3.5) ? Ran a SmartPORT
exerciser program from somewhere and that was an error message I got during a
read-write test.
Thanks
/steve

It's described in UniDisk 3.5 Technical Note #3 (I'll mail you a copy).
Basically it means if you try to write less than 512 bytes of data to
a file that already exists on a write-protected disk in that drive,
under ProDOS, you can't ever close the file, and you have to reboot.

The problem exists with on some Apple IIc versions and in the interface
card for the Apple II+ and Apple IIe.

My opinions are my own, not Apple's.
