I recently acquired an Apple ][ at a garage sale. It works fine but only has 48K of memory. I have two questions. 1. Is it possible to upgrade the onboard memory to 64K? If so, how? 2. Who still markets 16K expansion boards? Any help would be appreciated. Rick Eads eads@hpldola

After talking to a major sw/hw distributor in California I was able to confirm that Applied Engineering does indeed offer a 16K expansion board for the Apple ][. Their phone number is 214-241-6060. The price of the board is $99. Rick Eads eads@hpldola

In-Reply-To: message from eads@hpldola.HP.COM You can get to 64k by adding a 16k card. Look in Incider for those who sell it still. If you can't find a source there, send me E-Mail and I'll look it up for you.

In-Reply-To: message from eads@hpldola.HP.COM Price Busters advertises in Incider. They sell a 16k card for around $35.00,I believe. It will allow a ][+ to run ProDos.
