Having been told (I wont mention names publicaly) that ROM 3 is 2 ROM's totaling 256K by 8 bits, I now put forth this question: I'm already using an EEPROM board (to boot from) that can also accept 128K by 8 bit ROM's.... The question is: If I put one of the 2 ROM's on the IIgs mother- board, and the other on the ROM/EEPROM board (and jumper the correct address, of course), will that work? (I'm not really concerned about the ROM versions of the tools, I want the "enhanced" I/O firmware that's part of the ROM ver. 3 firmware (such as allowing a SCSI controler in slot 4 w/out interfering with the operation of the mouse)) (If didn't already have the ROM/EEPROM board, I probably wouldn't be asking this question) Thanks in advance. - Ron Wilson
