I would like to write some programs using the GIF format. Is the
information concerning GIF formatting etc. available to the public?
If so, does anyone know where I can get copies?
Thanks,
Bob Church

Try files 88-00605 or 88-00636 from the APPLE2-L list server at the
BITNET node BROWNVM.

The Univ of Michigan ftp site (35.1.1.43) has a file called DO.GIF,
which discusses the GIF format. If you can't use ftp, I'll be glad
to email you a copy of the file.
