I just purchased an extended 80 col /RGB card second hand. This card it genuine apple and I have a few questions about it, since I have never ever seen one before. First of all, there are two dips switches on the face of the card, but I have no idea what they are for. There is also a single jumper near the end of the board. I'd like to know it's purpose too. Any body with information please contact me. Also, what kind of a cable would I have to get to interface it with an RGB monitor. thanks. Doug Hughes doug@hcx.psu.edu psuvax1!psuhcx!doug

The two DIPs on the card are for selecting the text color (similar to the gs' control panel), which can be green, blue, orange, or white (?). Interestingly, inverse text always shows up on a white background, even when the text color is selected differently. >doug@hcx.psu.edu psuvax1!psuhcx!doug --- Henry Throop Internet: throoph@jacobs.cs.orst.edu
