I am trying to use a Casio HT-700 with a IIgs, System Disk 5.0.2, Music Studio 2.0 and an Apple external MIDI interface. I need help from anyone who might have done this. If you have, would you please let me know either here, or preferably at lwv27@cas.bitnet (both are internet/bitnet type addrs and I am more likely to see your msgs in my time constrained period). When I use the Apple.Midi, I get no sound from the midi, but I do get sound from the IIgs speakers. When I copy Apple.Midi to APPLEMIDI, the name that Activision used in the 2.0 release, I get the intro (1 or 2 channels anyways) out, but the program crashs at 11C: with a wierd screen that I only see for a brief moment after I reset. I get the crash when using the original disks (system disk 3.0 or some such nonsense) as well. If you have played with MIDI and could help would you let me know? Thanks!
