It is interesting to me that there is so much effort being put into blasting
Apple Computer for not supporting the // in ways that // users would like to
see. I have an Apple //e for home use, which I really love, because it works
for the applications I'm looking for. If I were Apple, I don't think I would
bother doing a great deal of development on the // line. It's rather like
Ford Motor Company investing all of it's engineering efforts to work on the
Model T. This is not knocking what the apple // has been, but I think for the
mainstream user, it's time has passed. I've seen a Mac //, and I've worked
with a GS, and I think they are still light years apart. My only hope is that
companys continue to provide hard and software support for the Apple // a
while longer. Maybe it would still be good for Apple // users if Apple spun
the // line of into another company. It might sink or swim, but I think it
would be interesting.
yea, yea if you gotta flame, just go ahead,
