Hi, I was asked an interesting question, and not knowing enough about hard drives to answer, am posing the question here. Would it be possible to use a Mac hard drive on a apple IIe with a SCSI interface? This might only be a rational suggestion if the Mac hard drive were obtained at no or low cost. And for that matter, is there a SCSI card available for an apple IIe? And most importantly, what about a software driver for the disk? Any response welcome, Jeff ====================================================================== Jeff Yancho Raytheon Co. (401) 847-8000 Submarine Signal Div. x2328 Mail Stop 174 1847 W. Jeff, you should be able to do this. You can buy an SCSI card and then plug in your mac hard-drive and have it work with just changing a few jumpers and dip switches. One place that sells SCSI cards is Zimco 85-39 213 st, Queens Village NY 11427 1-800-227-6647 for $110 which is pretty cheap. :wq
