CS656@OUACCVMB.BITNET (05/01/88)
A few things, (1) I have seen notes from time to time about using the BYE command after leaving Kermit. I noticed that one of the versions I use will not respond to Bye. It turns out not to be Kermit but the version of Basic.System that I run it under. The older version of Basic.System doesn't recognize Bye. (2) Applefest, etc. If anyone sees any programs for the 8 bit apple that contain Imagewriter LQ drivers *please* let me know. I feel like an orphan already. (3) AN UNBIASED NOTE (since I did not write Davex). Davex is great!! Especially the new Vstore Vrestore features. P.S. This is a (semi) public network. At the risk of sounding like a prude some of the signoffs are getting a little out of hand. Can't we keep it clean (and mature)?

Firstly, I have found this funny looking chip lying around. It is labeled "Applesoft Compiler" with a sticker on the side, it has 16 pins, and on the bottom it says: CA-16P. Any ideas as to what this sucker does? Secondly, can anyone help me out with writing something that will buffer subsequent keystrokes, while avoiding use of port 2 altogether, and my only "safe memory" is Hires Page 2 I suppose... Please E-mail all responces, I have that funny habit of smacking "s", "l" in cs. :-) "Momme, does God make all the snow on Earth?" "Yes dear." "Then he'd better get some Head and Shoulders..." :-) :: Paul Johnson :: UUCP: crash!pro-generic!paulj Toronto, Ontario, Canada. ARPA: crash!pro-generic!paulj@nosc.mil A INET: paulj@pro-generic.cts.co
