[comp.sys.apple] For a good time, call ...

DCS100@psuvm.psu.edu (Dave Schweisguth) (02/05/90)

Just an advertisement ...

The Pennsylvania Apples Microcomputer Users' Group, which includes Apple II,
GS, and Macintosh groups, has a public BBS which all are invited to call, at
814-237-1605, 300/1200/2400 baud, 8N1 as usual.

The reason I'm announcing it here is that the GS group's PD library has been
placed online recently. It includes almost all of what's come through the net
and Apple2-L, so it may be of interest to the folks who've asked about non-net
PD archives. Locals who haven't heard of PAMUG are, of course, welcome.

We do NOT yet have ProDOS Hyper C; it's in hand but we're hoping for something
more concrete on the legality of it all. ('Course, it may not matter, as the
cat seems to be rapidly debagging anyway ...:-)

The fact that it runs on a Macintosh shouldn't be a major problem to anyone on
the other end of a phone line, our problems with Red Ryder Host and MacBinary
having finally been solved. Apple II stalwarts may rest assured that I'm
properly contrite, and will jump at the first opportunity to start something
using a machine with a soul.

Suggestions are welcome, on the BBS or at the address below.
