I have someone here who uses a Mac //cx at work and a //gs at home. His work involves word processing and spreadsheets. Is there any means that he can do work both at home and at work with this setup? The GS has Appleworks GS while the Mac uses Excel and Macwrite or maybe MS Word. Is theer anyway to pass data files back and forth betwen the machines without losig the formating (and the inconvenience of Apple File Exchange? From looking at the two machines, it would seem trivial to be able to import the formatted files from one machine to another, due to the similarity in their interfaces. An experienced programmer would see the complications, but a user looks at the two machines and wonders what could be so difficult... Is there ANY means of acomplishing this? Would Beagle be working on this for a new BeagleWrite? ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ |Jeremy Mereness | Support | Ye Olde Disclaimer: | |jm7e+@andrew.cmu.edu (internet) | Free | The above represent my| |r746jm7e@cmccvb (Vax... bitnet) | Software | opinions, alone. | |staff/student@Carnegie Mellon U. | | Ya Gotta Love It. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
