The program Gnarly Golf, published by Fanfare, a division of Brittanica (Sp?) software, has instructions in the included instruction booklet that tell you how to install the program on a GS/OS based hard disk. Unfortunately, the program will not work when launched from System 5.02. I called the publisher (I had to look up the number in A+, it was nowhere on the package, manual or disk. SHAME!) and they admitted that the program was designed to run under older systems (even though it was released after 5.0) and would not run under current ones. They also stated that at this time they are contemplating no further developement on this program. So, the program does not run as documented, and they will not be fixing it. They would also not accept a return of the product. They claim that newer copies of this program have an insert informing the buyer that it is not compatible with newer systems. If putting games on your hard disk is important to you, I would avoid this program. If good continuing support, and flexible support policies are important to you, I would avoid this company.
