There was a call for votes in rec.music.misc for a group called talk.lists. It failed 91 to 34. Does this mean that rec.music.misc is a lost cause, and a dead notesfile? Please, cancelling a notesfile is no solution. You cancel notesfiles when they don't get traffic. Comp.sys.apple has as much traffic as any other file I've read. If this traffic can be warped and represented by one call for votes, I'm certainly not in the right place. I could easily flame the request to shutdown the notesfile, but I think this is far too serious to joke around about. If people don't like the Apple II, I dare suggest that you not royally tee-off at least 125 people. In my book, 125+ people means more than "Oh, well, gosh, we didn't get a vote of anywhere near 1000 to 93, so we might as well trash the file. The Apple II file doesn't get 90% of all comp.sys traffic, so it's a waste of time." Baloney. Any 17 year old college brat knows that. Go try to be righteous with some other notesfile. I'm not flaming, but I am not happy. Ken. _____________________________________________________________________________ {= InterNet =} ken-b@uiuc.edu {= Kenneth R.
