A while ago I asked about getting a 3.5'' disk for my enhanced //e. This is a rendered down version of the response I got: 1) I need a "Unidisk", not a regular dumb Mac drive. * 2) The accessory kit is just the interface card, and the stuff to install it. 3) Catalist 3.0 is a copy protected program selector, and it sucks. Don't waste money on it. 4) If I pay $500 for the kit, I'll make Dan Quale look smart by comparison. *One person mentioned picking up a Central Point controller card and a regular 3.5 drive, but he had a Lazer. If any of this isn't accurate I'd appreciate knowing about it. What I'd really like to find is a good 3rd party controller and drive that's ProDOS compatable. Thanks to Michael J Pender, Mike Jetzer, and Andy Tefft for responding. Dale.
