I and some of my colleagues are trying to use Kermit on apple ii e, emulating a VT100 terrminal. The program seems to be doing fine till we try to print something on our local printer. The toggle key for printer (escape-p) works, but when the print job is in execution, the screen freezes. Is there any way that the printer can be set on and thereafter all jobs can be sent to the printer without constantly toggling in and out of Kermit? Also, when the print job is large we have to set flow delay on, but then the processing becomes so slow that it appears we are working on a lower baud modem. Any way to get around this? Currently we are using Kermit 3.79, I hear there is a 3.86 version out which can possibly be obtained by FTP. How does one invoke FTP?? Any answers will be appreciated. Ranju
