Recently my //c was unable to read from the built-in drive. Upon further investigation of the drives inards I discovered a small metal strap stuck behind the head preventing the head from moving backward. The strap originally ws connected to one of the disk drive chassis screws (see diagram) possibly for grounding purposes. Can ony tell me what the purpose of the strap was and what is connected to.
