I haven't received anything from INFO-APPLE since last Friday (5/15) which strikes me as a bit unusual. Our link to Yale (and hence the rest of the known Universe) was down from late Friday or sometime Saturday to Monday afternoon (also unusual). It's possible some mail/files were purged as part of whatever caused the link to be down. I suppose it's possible that some vital link in ARPANET or the gateway to BITNET may have been down as well. I AM still on the mailing list (haven't been purged by some "DEAMON MAILER" unable to send files to New England)?

I had conversations going with several people from this list. I accidentally nuked my unread notebook (120+ messages), so if you said anything recently, I prolly missed it. As I recall, there was something about 1. Super Mario Bros. 2. AppleWorks v3.0. 3. System Disk 5.0.2. 4. Snowterm v1.07a. that's all I can recall of-hand. Mike

For those who have just been itching to send me some mail and have had it bounced back...fear no more. All has been fixed. Thanks for your patience. -- Dave Whitney dcw@sun-bear.lcs.mit.edu ...!mit-eddie!sun-bear!dcw dcw@athena.mit.edu My employer pays me well. This, however, does not mean he agrees with me. I wrote Z-Link & BinSCII. Send me bug reports. I use a //GS. Send me Tech Info.
