Well, Holland did not *just* appear on the map, cinematically... I remember seeing "Soldier of Orange" a couple years ago, and enjoyed it quite a bit. A fine (and suprisingly, very entertaining) war movie, with an excellent soundtrack and very skilled camerawork. It also introduced Rutgaer Hauer (sp?) to the American public, who has gone on to a series of extremely good roles (often outshining the 'major' stars he is working with), such as the android leader in "Bladerunner", and the terrorist Wolfgar in "Nighthawks" (his acting was so much better than either Stalone or Billy Dee Williams, it was pathetic). Gee, and it even appeals to 'normal' people like me :-). "...Who'z dat guy?" "That's Berhard Goetz." "Bern-hard Getzz? De jazz musician?" Moriarty, aka Jeff Meyer John Fluke Mfg. Co., Inc.
