Hi! I am thinking (wishing :-)) for a SCSI hard disk. I have seen controllers from Apple, CMS, those sider folks, and I think some place in England. any one know of any others? Also, I see in msgs over in those OTHER areas items about MFM and RLL - which is used for Apple SCSI? Thanks -- Larry W. MFM or RLL is a feature of the disk drive used, independent of the interface between computer and the disk controller electronics. There can be several interfaces in between you and the disk platters. I am planning to install a SCSI Hard Drive on my GS and I wounder if I
could use one of those Mac advertised HD on my GS with the Apple SCSI card. I
am not sure about how compatible the Apple SCSI card is with the Macs SCSI port
I would like to use one of thos Mac HD since they are a lot cheapper than the
ones advertised for the Apple II family. Is there any compability problem?
Can this be done?

I've used a generic Mac SCSI drive (ordered from HDI) and been pleased with it. Alan H.
