Would someone please post the format of GIF picture files. Please
include any compression algorithms used (or at least provide a
reference to where I can get the information). Note : I do *NOT*
have access to Compuserve. Thanks.

If you have FTP access, try 35.1.1.43. Login, "CD PC5:", and get the file DO.GIF.
