Hi, I am submitting this for a friend of mine, so bear with me if I get some of the details wrong. Here goes... He has an apple IIgs, with a 45mB CMS drive(via a SCSI port). He partitioned the drive into 20 and 25mB partitions using the partitioner on the disk "apple IIgs system utilities, v5.0, Advanced disk utilities". He can see and use both partitions, and everything works fine until he tries to backup the drive. He is using the backup program from the "Apple SCSI Card Utilities. Using the same utilities, he seems to be able to use the "test" program, which sees both partitions, but can't use the "partition" program because it doen't handle drives > 40mB. When he attempts a backup, he gets the error "Unsupported storage device", after the hard disk light, then the floppy light and then the hard disk light flashes again. (It says that it has successfully created a table-of-contents.) Thanks in advance !! Phil DiBello Hewlett-Packard, Chelmsford
