Saw 'Flamingo Kid' on Saturday. Good movie. Recommended. Nice plot
development and characterization. Not another "high school" movie. Gives
you the feeling that you are back in Brooklyn and at the beach in 1963.
Also, nice blonde. BTW, (from someone that knows the area) was the opening
scene crossing the bridge somewhere around Jones Beach, LI and is the actual
El Flamingo (where the filming was done) around Long Beach, LI? I thought
I passed by that place a couple of years ago when I was back there.
Usually a Goldie Hawn fan, I saw 'Protocol' a few weeks back. This movie
is not up to her normal standards. Although a good way to waste a Saturday
evening, I wouldn't consider seeing it twice.
