Just got back from seeing the new Goldie Hawn movie Protocol. I was surprised that some of the scenes used in the tv promotion ads are not in the film. Specifically, 1) Sunny Davis (Goldie) is leading a camel across a stretch of desert saying "I've got a camel..." 2) Sunny is turning around in a limo containing foreign VIP's and is sticking her tush in someone's face. What happened to these scenes? Why are they in the ad but not in the movie? I haven't seen the movie, however, I understand from someone who likes Goldie Hawn that the movie is really terrible. There's no good comedy in it as there was in Private Benjeman, just stupidity. Can anyone validate this claim?

Although I am still a Goldie Hawn fan and found the movie to be enjoyable, the missing scenes from the TV promotion make me feel like I "was had." When Goldie showed up at the barbecue party dressed in casual clothes and everyone else was wearing formal attire the scene ended. I still wonder what went on. Bill Louden caribou!bill

I have a very high tolerance for sappy movies, and it exceeded my tolerance by a good margin. Some movies are not for diabetics; this one is not for people. I almost had to go for the barf bag when she started to read the Declaration of Independence to the Senate committee, which was, of course, listening with awe and admiration. Do not see this movie--let it be a flop. -- Scott D. Anderson decvax!ittvax!anderson 203-385-7451 or 203-375-0200 for operator

The impression I got from the commercial was that she had been invited to a "Roast", which she interpreted as a "Barbecue". -- Binayak Banerjee {allegra | astrovax | bpa | burdvax}!sjuvax!bbanerje P.S.
