Hi there! Can anybody point me in the direction of some information about the SIMSCRIPT language. Reference material, books (if any), source (is it the RAND Corporation?) and stuff like that would all be very welcome. I am looking for this stuff because I have been asked to take a look at some SIMSCRIPT code (from a maintenance viewpoint!), and I don't know anything about the language, other than that it is used for simulation. The people I am doing this for are being *extremely* slow and unhelpful in dishing up information. Please e-mail your replies. In article <433@methods.UUCP> I asked: >Hi there! Can anybody point me in the direction of some information >about the SIMSCRIPT language. >[...] I now know that SIMSCRIPT is available, together with manuals, from: C.A.C.I. 12011 San Vicente Blvd. Los Angeles, California 90049 (213) 476-6511 Special thanks go to those people who responded to my question: Steve Schlaifer <mahendo.Jpl.Nasa.Gov!steve> Steve Cavrak <uvm-gen!cavrak> David Anderson <fortune!da> Bill Gunshannon <westpt!bill> Of course, if I had thought hard enough, I might have remembered seeing the CACI advertisement in IEEE Computer that was sitting on my desk! Anyway, thank you all. -- Owen Plowman "Have you figured it out yet, Diamond?"
