    No, Wm is not short for William.  It's his name, pronounced "whim".
    Says so right on his driver's license and everything.


Someone should tell the Library of Congress, then.  I claimed it *was*
short for William because of the following text in the front of the
book:

  Library of Congress Cataloging-in-Publication Data

  Leler, Wm (William)
    Constraint Programming Languages
      Their Specification and Generation
    ...
