We are some collegues writing a book (in French) about Object-Oriented Languages. We also want to include things like the adresses from where to purchase languages and systems. With respect to Objective-C, I have some questions about small details: 1) Is the company selling Objective-C still called PPI ? I wonder if there weren't a message in news.config or something like that saying that ppi.uucp had changed to another name, and I wondered whether this was a change in the company name... 2) In the current version of Objective-C, does the cache mechanism used by the messenger function only have one triple (selector, class, function) or several ? 3) In the current version of Objective-C, is there an estimate of the hit rate in the cache and of the gain in efficiency by using a cache ?
