Like it was starring Timothy Hutton and Sean Penn who are both totally cool. I mean, after all, that was why we went to see it. Well Timothy was just a hunk as Christopher Boyce, i was like really totally jealous of his girl- friend in the movie. She was an okay actress, I guess. Like, though, I still don't understand why he stole all those boring governmental things. Not too cool. Now he is prison, gag, for the rest of his life. No more party time for him. The scene that really grossed me out though, was when he fed his pet falcon. Ugh, how could he break that poor bird's neck. Still, over- all, Timothy was just a dream in the movie. Sean, like I didn't even recognize him. His hair was short and dark. And get this, thru the whole movie, he like kept sticking his stomach out. Not very sexy at all, Sean. Also, he never surfed once in the film. He kept sticking that white stuff in his nose all the time, gag. Like man, his brains were fried. And he went off the edge on being a spy, he must'va thought it was real neat to be one. He even read all the books on it. The movie covers Sean (Dalton Lee) in his drug dealings, his relationship with his parents (I couldn't believe them, they seemed to never face the truth, blaming it on his friends, all wrong). I guess Dalton needed to feel that his life was important, exciting, and worth something to himself and his family. Chris, only wanted to hurt his father, maybe. They never seemed to get along. Like wow, though, what a change from studying to be a priest to selling secrets to the Russians. The boys were definitely out of their league. Like they were caught in a trap with no way out. Bummer. Like the movie was mostly good, it kept me interested. I would give it a 3+ on the scale -4 to 4+.
