[comp.lang.misc] Prolog and Lisp

dan-hankins@cup.portal.com (Daniel B Hankins) (10/20/88)

I have just finished the semantics for a (very simple) concurrent
object-oriented language. I intend to implement the production version as
an interpreter written in Modula-2. However, I would like to work the
kinks out by prototyping the language in either Prolog or some variety of
Lisp.

I am using an Amiga for this project, and the languages I have
available are VTProlog, SBProlog, XLisp 2.0, and Scheme.

I am interested in any comments on the performance, completeness, and
suitability for my application of any of these languages. Suitability
should be considered the prime factor. Please post here or send email.
