I discovered Jade Warrior a couple of years ago when I dug
"Kites" out of the cut-out bins. According to the Phonolog
they only have one other album, "Waves". Does anyone know
if this is still in print? I seem to recall seeing quite a few
J.W. albums several years ago. Are there only two or does
anyone have a more complete discography?

Thanks.

From my collection, I see the following Jade Warrior albums:

	(untitled)
	Kites
	Last Autumn's Dream
	Waves
	Released
	Way of the Sun

I don't think any of them are in print; but they can be found in
cutout bins and so forth all over the place. The first one is hardest to
get your hands on. Interesting stuff...but hard to categorize. Certainly
worth the $2.99 it'll cost to give it a listen.

I congratulate you on your rare taste. Jade Warrior is a relatively
unknown British rock group of the early seventies. To my knowledge,
they had six records released in the United States. I own five of them.
I have heard mention of another Vertigo disk simply called Jade Warrior.
I have no idea if it truly exists, but, I would love to find a copy.

Anyway, the records that I have are as follows:

Released -- 1971 -- Vertigo Records
Last' Autumn's Dream -- 1972 -- Vertigo
Floating World -- 1974 -- Island Records
Waves -- 1975 -- Island
Kites -- 1976 -- Island

A friend of mine told me that Jade Warrior sounds like what would happen
if King Crimson played music written for Jethro Tull.

If you have Kites, you have the most advanced of their albums. My
personal favorite is Floating World. In any case, their Island
pressings are much more interesting than the Vertigo ones. The band
changed some members for the better and adopted a more flowing style.
