LOVE AND ANGST: Ingmar Bergman 1975 3 hours 23 minutes Fulfillment of the director's longstanding desire to make a film in the style of Woody Allen, this comedy had critics and audiences longing for his early, serious movies. With Liv Ullman. FAROUK: Milos Forman 1983 2 hours 5 minutes Based on the Rice/Webber rock opera about the vulgar Egyptian king, this film marked Forman's return to the musical genre. With Meatloaf as Farouk, David Bowie as Nasser. :-), in case you hadn't noticed. Wayne Citrin (ucbvax!citrin)
