I am seeking a reference.  I would like to know who was the first to
say in print "When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a
nail," and where he said it.  The statement was made in a comparison of
programming languages to tools, in support of the argument that we need
many different programming languages, rather than a single
general-purpose programming language.
