There have been some questions on the net if Emilio Estevez is related to Martin Sheen. Actually he is one of three sons of an actor named Ramon Estevez. Ramon was one of three sons of a Spanish immigrant father and an Irish mother. He became an actor and when the time came to choose a stage name he chose to use his mother's family name and called himself Martin Sheen. The three acting sons are Emilio Estevez (REPO MAN, BREAKFAST CLUB), Ramon Estevez (Jr. ?) who does mostly theater, and Charlie Sheen (RED DAWN). Mark Leeper ...ihnp4!ahutb!leeper

Sorry, the "family name" part of my response was hearsay evidence, probably based on the fact that his mother was Irish.
