Tom Rombouts (tomr@ashtate.A-T.com) has asked me to post the latest version of his Language List, since he has repeatedly been having trouble posting it from his site. I am posting it here in three parts as requested. I think you'll agree that this has already become a remarkably complete and useful compilation, and he deserves a load of thanks for originating this idea and putting so much work into it. The information contained here has been widely scattered, and is being brought together for the first time. He's asked several times for a volunteer to help coordinate future additions and corrections, and if no one else steps forward at this point I guess that I (gulp) would be interested in carrying out that role, probably in coordination with Tom. If you have further informa- tion that you would like to see added, I'd be happy to receive it via email.
