Someone mentioned that they had seen in a magazine that there was
a free version of APL2 for IBM PCs made available at the conference
APL89. This indeed is so. At the IBM booth, there was a sign-up
sheet for free copies, and copies were, I believe, distributed.
There is a disk and a booklet. The disk is called TryAPL2, and the
booklet is called "TryAPL2 for free". They were distributed from
this address:
APL Development
J98/B25
Santa Teresa Lab
IBM Corporation
P.O. Box 49023
San Jose, CA
USA 95161-9023
It is my understanding that they may be copied and distributed for
free or for fee to cover only the cost of duplication, media, and
distribution.
