Does anybody have any experience (s or horror stories) about using STSC's pc version 7.0 apl with a HP LaserJet IIP ? Using the supplied printers workspace to install / select / setup the system printer, they only offer selections (in the range we are considering) the HP LaserJet +, in landscape or portriate mode. Every other software package I have in using the LaserJet + driver when a closer/different/exact HP LJ IIP driver isn't available works just fine. With STSC V.7 the results I get are very funny, it can and does print very well the entire character set & all sorts of text type of output. However, when I try to print a graph or graphics that I have created, I only get garbage at the printer. Anybody have comments, different experiences, use of later versions of apl, helpful hints, or anything to add, all helpful & useless info gladly accepted ... 8-) al -- Al. I have used STSC's APL 7.0 with a HP Laserjet II for a while and it works fine. The only problem I have seen is when someone else sends a document in ASCII to the same printer, the APL font that I downloaded at the beginning of my session gets wiped out. I have printed out histograms using APL characters OK. Rudi Rynders (rrr@hpdmd48.boi.hp.com).
