I looking for a version of APL with the following characteristics: Runs on sun3 or sun4 under X is free and source is available I am looking for this to try to develope a distributed version that with take advantage of idle machines and parallel processors. Thanks Ken Block University of Florida

No such animal. You might be interested in taking a look at Tim Budd's APL to C compiler, which is the only APL I've heard of with source available.
