Carolyn, I have been unable to find a definitive list of non-IBM machines that APL2PC will or will not run on. However, I did get a little more information about the Campaq situation. Here is the gist of a note I received from an APL2PC developer: The description of the problem using APL2PC on Compaq machines is exactly correct. Both we, IBM, and Compaq are aware of the problem. Compaq has a fix available. It is called APL2FIX and is available from their dealers. The same fix should also work on other machines that exhibit the same problem. However, we are not sure if the Compaq fix is copyright protected to prohibit this. Within IBM we have a fix for the problem. Hopefully we can get it out to customers in the not too distant future.
