Insults first this time! Boy, I got all kinds of good stuff. New EP by Tesco Vee and the Meat Krew, which should be required listening for net mushbrains. Old ? and the Mysterians album!!! for which I paid too much. I wish I'd had a brain back in the 60s. AND... Avengers album (SF residents may now yawn), ORIGINAL Yardbirds Greatest Hits (MORE too much, still LESS brains in the 60's), and an Angry Samoans album, and... and... I got the ONLY COPY of the new BIG BLACK EP that CAME INTO the STORE!!!!!!!! I must be living right. Big Black is incredible, & there is one song, "Seth", on the new "Bulldozer" EP that should be required listening for everybody in the universe, not just net mushbrains. Oh - and I got the Chesterfield Kings album, and the ONLY copy (again) of the new Effigies album that came in, though (DAMMIT!) it didn't have "Quota" or "Body Bag" or that other one they released on an E.P., on it... but, it's pretty good. Anybody in the Midwest that knows the Effigies, tell them they are DUMB for not putting those songs on their album. This is a waste of time, everybody that's left on net.music is too busy trying to decide which garbage stinks least. Where the hell is mincemeat, anyway? Did anybody besides me see the Exploited? or are you too busy dwelling on DERWANK DERWANK and the rest of the polyester wankers... How anybody can complain about AM radio drivel when there's so much good stuff around and so many STARVING rockers that can't get a break from the corporate music biznecrat penguins, is BEYOND me... I noticed somebody explaining about how classical musicians go to music school for 356 years to learn to play the bonaphone and then are all whimpery when they can't make as much money as Knuckel Dragson et. al. Well, you ought to see what DOA and Black Flag go through, touring, coming home completely broke, sleeping in parking garages... My heart bleeds for those poor classical bonaphone blowers, on salary, usually at public expense - Anyway, go see the Exploited. Maybe you'll remember what it was like to be alive. Don't drive your BMW or wear your tweed coat or your riding cap or the skinheads will turn you into glue for Wattie's mohawk. Wank, wank, wank...
