Is a sun3 version of J available anywhere? I saw it listed once, I guess in the 2.9-status doc of the PC package. Martin Neitzel

Hello. J/Sun3 existed once upon a time. The difficulty is getting access to a machine to do a compile. I will try to do an up-to-date version, but the delay will likely be a few weeks or more. The problem is going to get worse as Sparcs take over from the 3's. FYI: the most up-to-date J versions, in order, are: PC, Mac, ATT 3B1, 386ix, Sun4, Silicon Graphics, MIPS, AtariST, VAX/BSD Unix, NeXT, Sun3, Sun386i, IBM RS6000. (We don't happen to have an RS6000 around, obviously ...) Roger Hui Iverson Software Inc., 33 Major Street, Toronto, Ontario M5S 2K9 (416) 925 6096
