_ I couldn't find the original message urging Buckaroo Banzai fans to write to the Banzai Institute at Twentieth-Century Fox for input in favor of making "Buckaroo Banzai vs. the World Crime League" on our system, but a friend of mine here kindly provided an alternate address to send mail to which we feel might be more effective if sent to in small quantity. Gerald K. Bergman Executive Vice President Twentieth Century Fox 10201 West Pico Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90035 A flood of letters might not be appreciated, because it would overflow an office where they actually read the mail, but a few letters to the office of the vice-president coupled with a lot of mail to the appointed address (where they probably just count letters and don't read them) might impress them that people really have an interest in another Buckaroo Banzai film. So show your support. "Remember -- no matter where you go, . . .there you are." -- -- Lucius Chiaraviglio lucius@tardis.ARPA seismo!tardis!lucius

If you sent fan mail to the Banzai Institute c/o Twentieth Century Fox, P.O. Box 900, Beverly Hills, CA 90213 it may have gotten trashed by the people in the mailroom who didn't know what to do with it. Denise Tathwell, who has been coordinating Team Banzai activities, found several hundred packages with info as described in a previous posting that had been abandoned at Fox. She got them moving, and if your request hasn't been lost you should have the package by now (including some flashy Team Banzai stickers). If you haven't, try writing again. For Southern California types, there's an outing planned to the Palomino Club in North Hollywood for the Friday, April 19th 8PM performance of a group called "Billy and the Beaters", led by the guy who plays Pinky Carruthers in The Movie. Denise says "... his band served as the prototype of the Hong Kong Cavaliers." RSVP to Denise Tathwell, 728 Parkcenter Dr. #77A, Santa Ana, CA 92705. -- Jim Gillogly {decvax, vortex}!randvax!jim jim@rand-unix.arpa
